Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's four meetings

Selections from Chepstow, Fakenham, Wolverhampton and Punchestown

Monday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Chepstow

2.35 West To The Bridge

Bellatrixsa won two of her four starts when starting out over hurdles and should bring potential to this handicap hurdle debut, following a 205-day absence. However, West To The Bridge has fallen markedly in the weights and his performance last time out suggested that he may well be about to take advantage.Richard Austen

Fakenham

2.50 Tiny Tantrum

This can go to the lightly raced 6yo Tiny Tantrum, who pulled clear with an improver when runner-up on his handicap debut over C&D last month and is only 1lb higher here. Second choice is dual handicap winner Midnight Mary, who had an excuse in the mud at Warwick last time and could resume her progress on this drop back in grade. Another to consider is Bolt N Brown, who is on a dangerous mark and could make a bold bid back over hurdles. David Moon

Punchestown

3.00: Minella Crooner

Having split two smart horses on his hurdles debut at Leopardstown, dual bumper winner Minella Crooner can get off the mark here. Cru Bourgeois could be the main danger. Johnny Ward

Wolverhampton

5.30: Desert Lime

Preference is for the unexposed Desert Lime, who proved suited by the return to 6f and fitting of cheekpieces when a good second here ten days ago. That form has been franked since and she has solid claims off the same mark. Last-time-out scorers Impeach (second choice) and Patsy Fagan are respected, while Water Of Leith has possibilities if he settles better. Steve Boow
