Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's four meetings

Selections from Chester, Galway, Market Rasen and Thirsk

Sunday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Chester

3.45: Heart Of Soul

Last year's winner Heart Of Soul (nap), arrives in top form and is taken to gain a repeat success. The three-year-olds Rival and Solent Gateway have shown strong form here and retain potential, but they need to bounce back from lesser efforts and the main threat could come from Gabrial The One, who was second to the selection over course and distance in June.
Ben Hutton

Galway

3.50: Rosscarbery

The form of Rosscarbery's (nap) latest placed effort was boosted here earlier in the week and she sets a decent standard for her rivals to aim at here. Simply Incredible is the likely main danger stepping up in trip and Fine Lace is the most interesting of the newcomers.
Phill Anderson

Market Rasen

3.00: You Name Him

Chives bids to complete a hat-trick and has very obvious claims but it can pay to oppose him with You Name Him (nap), who finished tired and well held when third at Southwell last month but was the only one to give the fast-improving winner any sort of race and ran quite a bit better than the bare form suggests. Thirtyfourstitches didn't fire when last in action but may yet build upon his Worcester win in June.
Chris Wilson

Thirsk

4.30: Doctor Parnassus

Carrigillihy bids for a hat-trick over this trip but faces two very interesting rivals. Doctor Parnassus (nap) earns the vote with his potential and the bold shows in his two handicaps, but what Oriental Art can deliver with a clear run over this trip could pose a danger.
