Chepstow Placepot picks: Tom Collins provides his perm at the Welsh track

There is almost always a strong bias to those drawn high on the straight track at Chepstow and you should factor that into your Placepot perms on Monday afternoon.

It has no relevance to the opening 1m2f handicap (1.55), though, and selecting in-form pair Big Little Lie and Her Way, who was unlucky not to win at Bath last time, should safely see you through.

Banker selections come in race two (2.30) and three (3.00) courtesy of Charging Thunder and Tamaamm. The former runs in a weak five-runner heat and must hit the frame, while Tamaamm's recent second-place finish behind Baaeed was franked when the winner dotted up on Saturday.

The draw becomes crucial in leg four (3.30), a competitive mile handicap. Leicester runner-up Accrington Stanley and Kempton eyecatcher Crema Inglesa have to make the slip from stalls nine and 12 respectively. Luxy Lou, who ran well at this track last time, also warrants a tick.

Yanifer is a strong pick after a wide trip at Chelmsford in the penultimate contest (4.00) and is joined by the improving Gosnay Gold.

Red Bravo (stall 11) and Diamond Cottage (stall 12) will race along the golden highway in the closing 6f handicap (4.30) and can't be overlooked.
