The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Wednesday

BANKER

Eljaddaaf(7.00 Kempton)

A talented but headstrong seven-year-old who boasts an exciting turn of foot, which he has put to good use on the all-weather throughout his career. Eljaddaaf was in flying form on the synthetic surface at the start of the year – two wins and two seconds from five runs – before finding life tougher in higher grades over 7f and a mile. He has had two starts since returning from a summer break, running down the field in a couple of competitive turf handicaps, but now returns to his favourite track and trip off a winnable mark and should be followed.

EYECATCHER

Just A Sting(2.35 Exeter)

This won't be plain sailing with a couple of interesting opponents (notably Gunfleet), but Harry Fry took this race last year and holds serious claims of landing it 12 months on with this unbeaten chaser. Just A Sting was a really talented bumper performer two seasons ago (2-2 in the sphere) but didn't produce over hurdles last year, letting down favourite backers on all four occasions. However, anything he did over the smaller obstacles was always going to be a bonus as he's a chaser through and through and he proved that when running out a cosy winner at Uttoxeter last month. He stayed the 2m6½f really well that day and can build on that performance here.
