EYECATCHER

Lady Dancealot(3.05 Goodwood)

I originally liked Mullionheir in this and still see him as a big threat, but Lady Dancealot will love the give in the ground and has been firing on all cylinders of late in quicker than ideal conditions. David Elsworth's three-year-old recorded her only career victory over this course and distance last year on soft ground and can definitely win a race of this nature off a mark of 77. She was well supported before the off at Yarmouth last time but was too keen behind a steady pace, and this race looks to suit a lot better.

GOOD THING

(8.45 Wolverhampton)

This should be plainsailing for Hugo Palmer's filly if she's built on last year's third-placed effort on debut at Yarmouth. The daughter of Cityscape was clearly well regarded by connections before her first start, but missed the kick and pulled too hard early to make her a factor in the finish. However, she did make an eyecatching move in between the final two furlongs and wasn't disgraced at all. She was beaten by a couple of extremely smart horses that day (Wild Illusion, who won, has since gone on to win two Group 1s, while Give And Take won the Group 3 Musidora earlier this year). This isn't a tough contest.
