The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Tuesday

BANKER

Global Acclamation(7.10 Wolverhampton)

Ed Dunlop's three-year-old has improved since undergoing a gelding operation in December and being fitted with blinkers and after getting off the mark with an eyecatching display on his penultimate outing, he looked pretty unlucky to bump into an in-form rival when trying to make all last time out. A change of tactics were employed on that occasion as he is normally held up, but he showed a nice turn of foot to briefly kick clear before being chased down mid-stretch. The winner and third have both won since and Global Acclamation looks a winner waiting to happen off this mark, albeit 3lb higher than when last seen.

EYECATCHER

Fenno's Storm (5.15 Fairyhouse)

It's pretty easy to pick holes in the form of those towards the top of the betting for this race and the value bet is definitely Fenno's Storm, a horse in flying form before unseating his rider when going to win a point-to-point last time out. With just 17 starts to his name, Fenno's Storm is quite lightly raced for his age and he was impressive on his last run under rules when dotting up in the Tetratema Cup at Gowran Park in March. He is a sound, if not spectacular, jumper who will relish this test and can come out on top.
