The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Tuesday

BANKER

Debatable(4.00 Yarmouth)

Mick Appleby's three-year-old filly is undoubtedly well handicapped and I'm confident she can follow up her recent victory under 5lb claimer Theodore Ladd. The daughter of Cape Cross, who was bought by Appleby from the William McCreery stable, travelled extremely well and fairly dotted up over this course and distance last time out, after which Appleby suggested she's a nice filly who is ahead of her mark. She was put up 6lb for that, but Ladd's claim means she races off just 1lb higher and her opponents look rather limited.

EYECATCHER

Glenamoy Lad(3.10 Newcastle)

There are some decent horses in this claiming handicap, most notably Michael Wigham's Glenamoy Lad, who on his best form would run away with this. The four-year-old must have had his fair share of problems since joining Wigham as he's had just seven starts over the last two seasons, but he has proved he's pretty good on a number of occasions, including producing a career-best record on his only start at this track. He absolutely hacked up that day (November last year) and if the return to the all-weather helps following two big defeats, he's sure to go close.
