The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Sunday

EYECATCHER

Swift Emperor (4.20 Doncaster)

Swift Emperor, who will be underestimated in the market because of his 06000 form figures, looks ready to cause an upset for trainer David Barron. This seven-year-old struggled in big-field handicaps last season but his mark dropped as a result and clearly better was expected on his final run of the campaign when sent off a well-backed 7-2 favourite. He didn't produce the goods that day, but that was on the Tapeta at Newcastle and the return to turf and 1m2f will suit. He has gone well at this track before and will go very close if back to his best.

EACH-WAY PLAY

Foolaad(3.10 Doncaster)

Having a low draw is crucial in sprints at Doncaster, as is race fitness, and Roy Bowring's Foolaad has both and looks sure to feature in the 6f handicap. Rated 95, 2lb higher than for his last success, Foolaad comes here rock-hard fit after four runs this winter and although he needs to improve on those efforts, the return to turf could be the catalyst to see him re-enter the winner's enclosure. Probably a better horse over 5f, Foolaad has run well over this trip before, including at this course when making the frame twice from as many runs, and will be in the firing line from the outset under Robert Winston.
