The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Friday

BANKER

Summer Moon(5.05 York)

In any normal 0-85 handicap Summer Moon would be a nigh-on certainty. This, unfortunately, is a very good race for the grade. Nevertheless, he was so impressive when last seen at Windsor that it would be foolish to ignore him and hopefully he can continue the good record in the race for trainer Mark Johnston. He was well punted when last seen and that was justified as he scored by a comfortable five lengths at the line under PJ McDonald, who retains the ride. He is open to plenty of improvement over this trip and could easily develop into a 100+ rated sort.

DARK HORSE

Regimented (5.30 Newbury)

A smart juvenile for Richard Hannon in 2017 (form figures of 131262), Regimented didn't improved as connections would have liked but has threatened to win recently and will relish this big drop in class. Rated in the low 90s this time last year, Regimented found life tough in Class 3 company throughout the summer and his mark fell to 78 by the end of the campaign. He showed he was well up to winning off that mark when extremely unlucky on his reappearance over 7f, before finding 7½f at Lingfield on the sharp side last time. He's now rated just 75, will appreciate the step up to a mile and runs in Class 5 company for the first time.
