The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow at Sandown

BANKER

Dee Ex Bee (7.05 Sandown)

This year's edition of the Group 3 Henry II Stakes looks strong and it should be a fantastic race, but there is a clear standout in the shape of Dee Ex Bee and anything around even money looks a decent price based on some of his form. Despite having to give 2-3lb to his rivals, Dee Ex Bee, who finished second in last year's Derby, fourth in the St Leger and was placed in numerous other Group contests, looks a class above these, especially his two stable companion who were last seen contesting the Chester Cup. They have yet to prove themselves outside handicap company and that race is sure to have taken something out of them. Dee Ex Bee's reappearance victory was impressive and he will take a lot of beating.

EYECATCHER

War Glory (8.40 Sandown)

He has nothing to hide from the handicapper, but War Glory is clearly in good form and the way he won over 7½f at Lingfield when last seen, breaking his turf duck (0-18 before the race), suggests he can handle a 3lb rise in the weights. Ridden by Ryan Moore that day, War Glory found all sorts of trouble in behind the leaders before weaving out wide and staying on powerfully to win. The form of that race doesn't look too bad for the grade and hopefully he can follow up.
