Sweetspots: Klassique set to strike for formidable Kempton duo
At Kempton William Haggas and James Doyle have individual strike-rates of 20 and 25 per cent – and it rises to 50 per cent when they combine. They do so with Klassique (8.30).
Willie Mullins has a phenomenal record with horses having their first start for the stable. The top trainer has had 83 winners from 157 such runners – a 53 per cent strike-rate – and ex-French Thrones Game (4.15 Galway) makes his yard debut today.
