Newmarket: David Milnes

Encore D'Or (2.05 Lingfield, nap)

Comes here a fresh horse after his comeback win at Newcastle last month and is fancied to go one better than a year ago in the sprint.

Others to follow
Lingfield: 2.35 Fearsome, 3.15 Wissahickon, 3.50 Main Street.
Wolverhampton: 6.30 Dalakina, 7.00 Alkaamel, 8.00 Zeebad

North: Richard Young

Rock On Fruity (2.40 Newcastle, nap)

Has won both starts at this course for in-form yard, has no ground worries and is well worth a try over this trip. This strong-traveller is fancied to give a very good account.

Others to follow
Lingfield: 2.05 Ornate.
Newcastle: 1.35 Basildon, 2.10 Niven, 3.20 Lady Kyria, 3.55 Albert's Back, 4.30 Ascot De Bruyere, 5.05 Dimple.
Wolverhampton: 5.30 Major Crispies, 6.00 Fast Track, 7.00 Balance Of Power, 7.30 Tum Tum, 8.00 Diamond Pursuit.

Lambourn: James Burn

Burrows Edge (1.15 Kempton, nap)

Track and trip appear perfect for this six-year-old, who has some decent form and – given the hands he is in – might be able to defy a ten-month layoff.

Others to follow
Chepstow: 1.55 The Dubai Way, 2.30 Dickie Diver, 3.05 Jammin Masters, 4.15 Dicosimo.
Kempton: 2.25 Fusil Raffles, 3.00 Angels Breath, 3.35 Rather Be, 4.45 Chantry House.
Lingfield: 1.30 Hidden Depths, 2.05 Corinthia Knight, 2.35 Cosmeapolitan, 3.15 Hathal, 3.50 Oh This Is Us.
Newcastle: 2.40 Morney Wing, 3.20 Lust For Glory.
Wolverhampton: 6.00 Monumental Man, 6.30 Miss Crick, 7.00 Spirit Warning, 7.30 Oneovdem.

West Country: Andrew King

Champagne Champ (1.15 Kempton, nap)

Should be spot-on after recent Flat spin and, with ground conditions in his favour, can notch his second hurdles win.

Others to follow
Kempton: 1.50 Bags Groove, 2.25 Red Force One, 3.00 Southfield Stone, 3.35 Modus, 4.10 Conna Cross, 4.45 Enrilo.
Newcastle: 2.40 Daklondike.
Chepstow: 1.55 Melchior King, 2.30 McNamaras Band, 3.40 Kapcorse, 4.15 Eamon An Cnoic, 4.50 Exmoor Mist, 5.20 Golden Gift.

Racing Post Ratings: Steve Mason

Katgary (3.55 Newcastle, nap)

Looks well-treated on the switch back to hurdles after shaping with a bit of promise on his return to action over fences at Kelso in December.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Rock On Fruity (2.40 Newcastle)

Two from two at the track, untried at this marathon trip but in form and could be equal to the challenge.

Longshot: Ben Harris

Progress Drive (2.40 Newcastle)

The Nicky Richards-trained runner travelled well on his first attempt over three miles last time before tiring late on to finish third. He's still unexposed over this trip and has had a wind op since. He will need to take another step forward here to figure, but looks the sort who could do just that.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir

Magic Of Light (4.00 Fairyhouse)

The Jessica Harrington-trained mare has been in good form over fences and hurdles in recent months and, getting weight from her six rivals, she makes plenty of appeal in the Grade 3 Bobbyjo Chase in which the 3m1f trip should not present a problem.
