Peggies all set to make a profitable venture to Worcester

Peggies Venture: a big run is expected at Kempton by our Lambourn correspondent

Newmarket: Anthony Burke

Romaana (3.00 Catterick, nap)

Looked a very unlucky loser at Wolverhampton last time having been badly hampered coming out of the gates. She rallied well to finish second and a reproduction of that form should be good enough to make the trip to Catterick worthwhile.

Others to follow

Catterick 2.30 Hope Is High, 3.30 Perisher, 4.30 India.
Lingfield 2.20 Rajman, 2.50 Gaslight, 3.20 Outback Traveller, 3.50 Temeraire, 4.20 Wajdy, 5.25 Sharp Reply.
Kempton 5.55 Albanita, 6.25 Christopher Wood, 6.55 Dayking, 7.25 Mod, 7.55 Thunder Speed, 8.25 African Jazz, 8.55 Indian Warrior.

North: Colin Russell

Rebel Assault (3.40 Musselburgh, nap)

Listed winner as a juvenile who hasn't really progressed this season though has run well on a couple of occasions. Now on a career-low mark and, with the race likely to go her way, is fancied to get off the mark for the year.

Others to follow

Catterick 2.00 Que Amoro, 2.30 Mitcd, 3.00 Sugar Coating, 3.30 Our Charlie Brown, 4.00 Guardia Svizzera, 4.30 Breathable, 5.00 Rose Marmara.
Kempton 5.55 Lola's Theme, 7.25 Cheerfilly.
Lingfield 2.20 Jazz Hands, 3.20 Pomme de Terre, 4.20 Ventura Gold.
Musselburgh 2.10 Beechwood Jade, 2.40 Mac O'Polo, 3.10 Machrea, 4.10 Power Sail, 4.40 The Last Debutante, 5.10 Your Just Desserts.
Worcester 6.15 Ruaraidh Hugh, 6.45 Chief Justice, 7.15 Shadow Sadness, 7.45 Cockley Beck.

Lambourn: James Burn

(7.45 Worcester, nap)

Alan King's horses are in good nick and this capable mare should be on the scene. She is a course-and-distance winner who has had wind surgery since that victory.

Others to follow

Kempton 6.25 King's Slipper, 7.25 Jedhi, 7.55 Come On Come On, 8.25 Sassie, 8.55 Penwood.
Lingfield 2.50 Bella Vita, 3.50 Secret Agent, 4.20 Mister Chips, 4.55 Putto, 5.25 Berkeley Vale.
Worcester 5.15 Toviere, 6.45 Royal Household.

West Country: Tim Mitchell

Timeforben (6.15 Worcester, nap)

Course and distance winner after wind surgery in June and good effort off higher mark last time. 2lb more to contend with but remains progressive and fancied to go close.

Others to follow

Kempton 7.25 Penny Poet, 8.55 Spot Lite.
Lingfield 3.20 Trotter, 3.50 Showmethewayavrilo.
Musselburgh 4.40 Fool To Cry.
Worcester 4.45 Full, 5.15 Shantou Village, 6.45 Malangen, 7.15 Acker Bilk.

Racing Post Ratings: Simon Turner

(7.25 Kempton, nap)

Cracking run on handicap debut over course and distance when narrowly denied. Ahead of the game turned out quickly and a repeat of that form likely to suffice.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Mitcd(2.30 Catterick, nap)

Was successful over both codes in June and George Bewley's versatile mare should again give a good account of herself.

Longshot: Dave Revers

(4.55 Lingfield, nap)

Wasn't disgraced at Wolverhampton last time out and should be able to build on that now stepping up in trip.

Ireland: David Jennings

Uradel (7.05 Bellewstown, nap)

Lowered the colours of Limini at Galway and could have more natural pace over this trip than stablemate Low Sun in what could develop into a match between the pair of Willie Mullins-trained geldings.

The Raceform Interactive nugget

William Buick has only had four rides for Charlie Appleby at Kempton this year and they have finished 2111. He goes there for one mount today – African Jazz for Appleby in the 2m handicap at (8.25).
