Using the Racing Post's unrivalled bank of stats, we pick out three horses to back this evening based on trainer form, RPRs and, tonight's wild card, course form . . .

Trainer form

Court Out
6.40 Huntingdon
Angle: Jamie Snowden is operating at a 45 per cent strike-rate

Jamie Snowden's runners over the past two weeks have been in sensational form, recording form figures of 15481121213. The Lambourn trainer sends out two runners this evening, the first of which is Court Out. He is making his handicap and chasing debut and should improve on his second start since undergoing a wind op.

Ratings

Farlam King
8.50 Hexham
Angle: top-rated on recent RPRs and carries lowest weight

Maurice Barnes's runner posted the highest recent RPR of 107 out of the six runners in this 2m7½f handicap hurdle, with Donnas Dream (106) and It's All About Me (104) the closest challengers. But this six-year-old carries less weight than those rivals and also benefits from regular rider Dillan Hurst's 10lb claim. Farlam King has finished second on his last two outings but has a perfect opportunity today.

Wild card

Sleep In First
5.50 Hexham
Angle: fantastic course record with four wins from six runs

James Ewart's runner thrives at Hexham, with form figures of 111212 at the track. His last win was off just 2lb lower over fences on this card a year ago and he can continue his fine association with the Northumberland venue under Brian Hughes.
