Evening angles: three to note at Wolverhampton based on Racing Post stats
Using the Racing Post's unrivalled bank of stats, we pick out three horses to back tonight based on trainer form, RPRs and, tonight's wild card, seasonal record . . .
Trainer form
Agent Of Fortune
7.15 Wolverhampton
Angle: Christine Dunnett and Adam Kirby have a 43 per cent strike-rate when teaming up at Wolverhampton
Christine Dunnett's nine per cent strike-rate at Wolverhampton rockets to an eye-catching 43 per cent when booking top jockey Adam Kirby, as she has done on the returning Agent Of Fortune.
The filly just failed in her hat-trick bid when last seen in action with a second at Kempton in November and looks a danger to all if in the same form after a 130-day break.
Although this is Agent Of Fortune's debut on Tapeta, she has shown her best form on the all-weather and there is plenty of speed in her pedigree to suggest the sharp track will suit.
Ratings
Mans Not Trot
7.45 Wolverhampton
Angle: Back to form last time and just 1lb short of RPR top-rated
Mans Not Trot has generally held his form during a busy winter on the all-weather and bounced back with a good third at Chelmsford ten days ago after a blip at that course the time before.
Among the top-rated with an RPR of 69, he finished third on his only previous start here in January and is well drawn to attack from stall one.
Mans Not Trot's sole victory in 13 starts came under Martin Dwyer at Chelmsford but regular partner Nicola Currie, who rides tonight, has finished in the frame on the four-year-old five times in eight outings.
Wild card
Fizzy Feet
6.45 Wolverhampton
Angle: Dave Loughnane has saddled two winners from four runners in three-year-old handicaps at Wolverhampton this season
Loughnane has saddled more winners at Wolverhampton (14) than any other course and is operating with a 50 per cent strike (2-4) in three-year-old handicaps at the track this season.
This could be a good opportunity for Fizzy Feet to enhance that record, particularly as the filly has winning form at the course.
She returned from a six-month layoff with good fourth at Lingfield ten days ago and wears cheekpieces for the first time in an open-looking handicap.
