Using the Racing Post's unrivalled bank of stats, we pick out three horses to back tonight based on trainer form, RPRs and, tonight's wild card, trainer's course stats

Trainer form

Coillte Eile
8.35 Aintree
Angle: Dr Richard Newland has a 36 per cent strike-rate with his runners in the past fortnight

Dr Richard Newland's runners have posted form figures of 32515154113 in the last two weeks and he looks to continue his fine form with this mare.

She shaped well on her seasonal bow and debut for the yard when fifth at Worcester and this former point-to-point winner is fancied to strike for the first time under rules.

Ratings

Selino
8.45 Goodwood
Angle: 6lb better than nearest rival on RPR

James Fanshawe's runner is rated 6lb higher than his nearest rival Yamuna River, and a further 1lb ahead of Hereby, who currently heads the market.

He has finished second on both outings but was not beaten far on each occasion and has sound claims once again.

Wild card

Paddys Motorbike
7.10 Goodwood
Angle: Nigel Twiston-Davies is three from seven with runners at the track in the last five years

This son of Fast Company makes his debut for Nigel Twiston-Davies, who has an excellent record at Goodwood (3-7, +£22.00 to £1 level stakes) in the last five years.

Last seen over hurdles in 2017, where he recorded form figures of 232, Paddys Motorbike has undergone a wind operation and has previously won twice on the Flat. He could go well at a big price.
