Bank on champion stayer Stradivarius and Battleground in Glorious Goodwood perm

The two bankers on the card appear to be the imperious Stradivarius in leg five (3.15) and Aidan O'Brien's exciting juvenile Battleground in leg three (2.15).

Tomorrow's Dream ran a blinder at Newbury last time and continues firmly on the upgrade. From a decent draw in stall five, she appeals in leg one (1.10), in which the John Gosden-trained Wasaayef, full of untapped potential, also merits inclusion.

Maydanny should be given the chance to bounce back from a disappointing last-time-out run in leg two (1.45).

He has the inside draw, possesses the scope to improve his current rating of 90 and represents a trainer who farms handicaps at Glorious Goodwood.

Derevo, although less well drawn in stall 18, has the profile of a horse laid out for this particular meeting and should go close.

There's no reason why Sir Dancealot cannot land the Lennox Stakes – leg four – for the third consecutive year.

Duke Of Hazzard, unbeaten in three starts at Goodwood, poses the biggest challenge.

There is an abundance of early speed in the 5f handicap (leg six), which could set the race up for a closer. Celsius fits the bill.

Recon Missionmay fare best of those ridden up with the pace.
