Danny Cipriani makes his home debut for Bath on Sunday but even his creative talents may not be enough for the hosts against an improving Saracens side.

Cipriani has been out of action since suffering a head injury in round one but will form part of an impressive home backline alongside England duo Jonathan Joseph and Anthony Watson.

The talent in their backs should mean Bath eventually turn the corner having begun the season with three narrow defeats, collecting a losing bonus point on each occasion.

However, that revival is unlikely to begin against Saracens, who could starve Bath's backs of possession if the hosts aren't given a platform to work from by their forwards.

Bath's pack struggled at Bristol and will face a Sarries side boosted by the return of Maro Itoje to the starting line-up.

The forwards did all the damage in Saracens’ third win of the season against Newcastle last week, scoring three tries and forcing a penalty try. Hooker Jamie George was among the tryscorers in the 37-23 success and he looks a fair price to get over the whitewash again.

Bath have allowed opposition hookers to score in two of their three Premiership outings and with Sarries proving extremely proficient at the lineout - they won 22 of 29 against Newcastle - there should be opportunities for George.
