England's Under-20 World Cup winners have made a solid start to life in the older age group with four points from two European Championship qualifiers and Aidy Boothroyd's side will expect to put Scotland to the sword at the Riverside.

That is reflected in the match odds with the hosts a short price for maximum points at the Riverside, although Scotland showed in a 2-0 win over Holland that it won't be a 90-minute stroll.

Oliver Burke, once of Leipzig and now with West Brom, scored in the success over the Dutch and should provide the biggest threat to England but boss Scot Gemmill is missing Celtic's Tony Ralston.

Rangers' man of the moment Ross McCrorie will be involved and the centre-back is likely to be busy with Tammy Abraham among those in contention to start for England.

One new name in the squad is Jack Harrison, who was not part of the World Cup success in the summer, but has been rewarded for a number of eye-catching performances for MLS outfit New York City.

Sheyi Ojo and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are injured, while Harry Winks was promoted to the senior England squad.
