DUNDALK’S achievement in hammering BATE Borisov on Tuesday was perhaps the greatest in the history of Irish football.

It matters little when they visit a plucky Galway tonight as while the group stages of the Champions League are now a realistic aim for the Lilywhites, another title triumph is far from guaranteed.

However, the excellent Terryland surface will suit them and while Galway are no pushovers, leaders Dundalk are on another level and look big at 4-7.
