Streetwise Sevilla should be too strong for hosts
Best bets and predictions for Tuesday's matches in the Uefa Champions League.
Krasnodar v Sevilla
Where to watch
BT Sport 1, 5.55pm Tuesday
Best bet
Sevilla
2pts 4-6 Betway, Coral
Match preview
Last season's Europa League winners Sevilla made life difficult for themselves in a 3-2 home win over Krasnodar but they are in a nice run of form and should complete a swift double over the Russians.
Krasnodar took an early 2-0 lead in Andalusia but Sevilla staged an impressive comeback despite having skipper Jesus Navas sent off just before half-time.
The La Liga side are always tough to beat and have held Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Chelsea to 90-minute draws away from the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium this term.
And the goals have started to flow for Julen Lopetegui's side recently, with a 4-2 victory over Celta Vigo at the weekend making it four wins in five games.
Krasnodar beat Tambov 1-0 last time out but had conceded 15 goals in their previous five games and could be outclassed by their confident visitors.
Key stats
- Krasnodar have lost five of their last six games in all competitions
- Seven of Sevilla's last ten matches have featured under 2.5 goals
- Krasnodar have kept only one clean sheet in their last 13 matches
Borussia Dortmund v Club Brugge
Where to watch
BT Sport Extra 4, 8pm Tuesday
Best bet
Borussia Dortmund to win & over 3.5 goals
2pts 11-8 Betway
Match preview
Club Brugge found themselves 3-0 down at home to Borussia Dortmund inside 32 minutes on matchday three and the Belgian defence should be braced for another tough night against BVB.
Erling Haaland scored twice for Dortmund in Bruges and the insatiable Norwegian warmed up for the return fixture with a four-goal haul in the 5-2 weekend win over Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga.
The Dortmund defence can be vulnerable at times, as a 3-1 Champions League loss to Lazio and a pair of 3-2 defeats to Bayern Munich demonstrated this season, but their brilliant young attacking unit tends to get them out of trouble.
They have won their last four home games in the Champions League, beating Inter 3-2 and Paris St-Germain 2-1 last term, and another entertaining victory looks likely against a Brugge side short on clean sheets this season.
Key stats
- Dortmund have won eight of their 13 matches to nil this season
- BVB have scored at least twice in eight of their last nine games
- Club Brugge have kept only one clean sheet in their last eight matches
Lazio v Zenit St Petersburg
Where to watch
BT Sport Extra 5, 8pm Tuesday
Best bet
Both teams to score
1pt 4-5 bet365
Match preview
Lazio kicked off their Champions League campaign in style with a 3-1 home win over Borussia Dortmund but a pair of 1-1 draws with Club Brugge and Zenit St Petersburg have slowed their progress towards the knockout stages.
Simone Inzaghi's men are slightly uneasy favourites for the home clash with Zenit and Felipe Caicedo's 82nd-minute equaliser on matchday three was one of only three attempts on target for the Romans.
Lazio kept a rare clean sheet in a 2-0 Serie A win at bottom club Crotone at the weekend but Zenit should fancy their chances of getting on the scoresheet at the Stadio Olimpico.
Both teams have scored in Lazio's last five home matches and Zenit are in decent goalscoring form, having beaten fellow Russian Champions League representatives Krasnodar 3-1 earlier this month.
Key stats
- Both teams have scored in eight of Lazio's last ten matches
- Four of Lazio's last nine games have finished 1-1
- Zenit have lost five of their last six away matches in the Champions League
Dynamo Kiev v Barcelona
Where to watch
BT Sport 3, 8pm Tuesday
Best bet
A penalty to be scored
1pt 9-5 Betfair, Paddy Power
Match preview
Barcelona scraped past a hugely depleted Dynamo Kiev side 2-1 at Camp Nou on matchday three and Ronald Koeman's men are still licking their wounds after a weekend league defeat at Atletico Madrid.
An error from goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen gifted Atletico a 1-0 win and Barca's pain was compounded by a serious knee injury suffered by defender Gerard Pique.
The Spanish league table makes for grim reading for Barca, who have taken 11 points from their first eight games under Koeman, but they have won three out of three in the Champions League, including a 2-0 victory at Juventus.
They undoubtedly lack a bit of fluency in attack which is reflected in the fact that five of Lionel Messi's six goals this season – including three in the Champions League – have come from the penalty spot. That trend may well continue in Kiev.
Key stats
- Dynamo Kiev have conceded two goals in each of their first three group games
- Barcelona have kept only one clean sheet in their last nine matches
- Seven penalties have been scored in Barca's last eight games
Juventus v Ferencvaros
Where to watch
BT Sport Extra 2, 8pm Tuesday
Best bet
Tokmac Nguen to score at any time
1pt 6-1 Betway
Match preview
Juventus are the hottest favourites on this week's Champions League coupon and should have too much firepower for a Ferencvaros side beaten 4-1 in Hungary on matchday three.
Alvaro Morata and Paolo Dybala did the damage for Juve that night but Cristiano Ronaldo is also in fine form, having scored five goals in four appearances since missing the 2-0 home defeat to Barcelona.
Juve's stars are predictably short in the goalscorer markets but Ferencvaros pose a goal threat of their own, beating Celtic 4-2 on aggregate in qualifying and finding the net in their first three group games.
The Juventus defence is not entirely reliable and Tokmac Nguen is worth a bet to notch for the underdogs. The winger scored twice in a qualifier against Djurgardens, once in the group draw with Dynamo Kiev, and has six goals from eight starts in the Hungarian league.
Key stats
- Juventus have kept one clean sheet in their last six games
- Both teams have scored in only two of Juve's last seven Champions League matches
- Ferencvaros have failed to score in only one of their 19 games this season
Paris St-Germain v RB Leipzig
Where to watch
BT Sport ESPN, 8pm Tuesday
Best bet
Leipzig or draw double chance
1pt 11-8 BoyleSports, Hills
Match preview
RB Leipzig took full advantage of a Paris St-Germain injury crisis to beat last season's Champions League runners-up 2-1 on matchday three and they could trouble the French champions again.
Leipzig, who lost to PSG in last term's semi-finals, responded well to their 5-0 drubbing by Manchester United at Old Trafford and have made a solid start to their Bundesliga campaign.
They are fourth in the table, conceding only five goals in eight matches, and PSG have suffered from ill discipline this season, receiving seven red cards and blowing a 2-0 lead in last weekend's 3-2 defeat in Monaco.
Even with Kylian Mbappe and Neymar back fit, PSG look too short to take maximum points against Leipzig. Thomas Tuchel's men have already lost three times in Ligue 1 this season and went down 2-1 at home to United on matchday one.
Key stats
- Paris St-Germain have lost three of their last seven home matches
- PSG have won to nil in eight of their last 12 games
- Leipzig have won four of their last six away games in the Champions League
