The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Monday
BANKER
Foxtrot Knight (5.20 Pontefract)
Ruth Carr's seven-year-old has three times as many places as wins to his name (15 places, five wins) but often finds trouble in running, such is his running style, and is very consistent at this level. One of his five victories came at this course and he can double that tally in what looks a pretty weak race. Drawn well in stall two, Foxtrot Knight, who will handle conditions fine and should get a nice run through on the rail, has dropped to a winnable mark of 65 (8lb lower than when placed here last summer) and can build on a promising reappearance second at Wolverhampton.
EYECATCHER
This three-year-old handicap is pretty poor and looks to present a good chance for David Elsworth's eight-race maiden to get off the mark. Redemptive has run well on all four starts for her new yard having moved from John Butler's stable and her latest fourth from a wide draw in a better race than this is pretty strong form in the context of this contest. She stayed on well from the back of the field despite not getting the clearest run and a subsequent 1lb drop will help her cause.
