Promising in three maiden starts, the daughter of Holy Roman Emperor stayed on in extremely taking style to win by two lengths on her first start on turf (soft ground) and can follow-up here.

Nelson (6.25 Leopardstown)

Aidan O'Brien has won this mile maiden six times in the last eight years and has three runners entered this time around to further his record. Ryan Moore has chosen the twice-raced Coat Of Arms, who looks sure to be the most fancied of O'Brien's trio, but it could pay to side with the son of Frankel, Nelson. With entries in the Futurity Stakes, National Stakes and next year's Derby, Ballydoyle obviously think Nelson could be well above average and his pedigree is second to none in the contest.

EACH-WAY PLAY

Buonarroti (5.45 Doncaster)

On the whole, he is a very inconsistent gelding but can throw in a good performance every now and again and his declining mark of 75, as well as a first-time tongue-tie being applied, could be the catalysts. His two career victories came on soft and yielding ground so the rain that has fallen at Doncaster will certainly enhance his chance. The New Pharaoh looks the one to beat but a jolt of improvement could see Buonarroti run into a place.
