The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with one to follow on Tuesday
BANKER
Maakaasib(5.05 Kempton)
Winner of this race last year, Simon Crisford's Maakaasib returns off a 2lb higher mark and looks to enhance his good all-weather strike-rate of three victories and a second from seven starts. The four-year-old gelding had no chance in the Stewards' Cup consolation race at Goodwood last time out, finishing 16th of 19, but would go extremely close to winning this if he returns to his runner-up effort at Chelmsford two starts back when beaten by handicap blot Cenotaph. This year's race is a bit tougher than last year, but he looks well enough treated to follow up.
