The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Tuesday afternoon
BANKER
Rayong(1.50 Pontefract)
The form of the Karl Burke team is a worry given the trainer's record of 0-47 in the last two weeks, but Rayong has crystal clear claims of adding a second career success to his name after a gallant and promising effort at Royal Ascot two weeks ago. The son of Mayson showed up in a number of good contests as a juvenile and had no chance on his return in the Palace Of Holyroodhouse Handicap due to his low draw. He showed up well despite the significant draw bias and finished a good seventh, suggesting he's handicapped to win. Somehow he was dropped 2lb for that effort and should outclass these.
EYECATCHER
Bronze River (7.15 Leicester)
The unexposed Rocket Rod and Dream With Me bring good form into this race and could improve now they are sent handicapping, but preference is for Andrew Balding's Bronze River, who is dropped in grade after finishing down the field at Royal Ascot. He's another that had no chance that day, held up last in a race that favoured those who were prominently positioned, and he should improve for the smaller field and quicker ground.
