She won't be much of a price, but I've been looking forward to seeing Alambrista since March and she looks to have been found a perfect opportunity to begin a sequence of victories. The Sir Mark Prescott-trained filly ran with promise in three all-weather novice contests over an inadequate 7f in the winter but is bred to relish trips up to 1m6f and should be in line for a prolific summer campaign. Alambrista boasts an exceptional staying pedigree (by Bobby's Kitten out of Galileo mare Almiranta) and is a half-sister to Albaflora, Aloe Vera, Alyssa and Alea Iacta, all of whom excelled over longer distances with cut in the ground.
