The Evening Punt: Jack Haynes's free horse racing tip on Wednesday
EACH-WAY PLAY
Dreaming (6.45 Kempton)
This Eve Johnson Houghton-trained juvenile was an eyecatcher when a promising fifth on debut at Ascot and looks good each-way value in division two of the 6f novice. He recorded a Racing Post Rating of 74 at the Berkshire track, which is just 1lb short of the top ratings recorded by Monitor and Brilliant News going into this contest, yet he is a notably bigger price. Dreaming was making steady headway when denied a clear run inside the final furlong at Ascot and that effort can certainly be marked up, with the in-form Johnson Houghton saddling a winner and a fourth from three two-year-old runners at this track this year. The widest draw in stall 12 tempers enthusiasm slightly, but nevertheless Dreaming has solid each-way claims.
