When David Probert rides for John Jenkins at Chelmsford it is worth
taking note. They have a 60 per cent strike-rate at the course together and combine with Carvelas at 7.20. This course-and-distance winner remains in good form and is bidding for a third win in a row.

Richard Newland is in very good form at present. He has a 38 per cent strike-rate in the last two weeks and sends Settimo Milanese to Chepstow for the 2.35, his only runner on the card. This promising hurdler is back in action before a 5lb rise takes effect after a very good second at Aintree recently.

Tom Greatrex and the Archie Watson-trained It’s Not Unusual are forging a very good partnership together. They are unbeaten in two starts together and bid for the hat-trick in the 6.50 at Chelmsford. The three-year-old filly is improving quickly and it is best to remain on the right side of her.
