Sweetspots: Mystic Meg looks likely to prevail for Palmer
Roger Charlton runs Jaquar (2.10 Bath), who appears here instead of
Catterick earlier this week. He will be bidding to improve on Charlton’s 41 per cent record with those who have run after being declared non-runners within the seven days.
Hugo Palmer has a 46 per cent strike-rate at Bath and he runs Mystic Meg in the 5.40. She has been disappointing in her four runs since her reappearance victory, but this race is easier than her last assignments and she should get her head back in front.

Fitting her charges with a first-time visor has provided Alex Dunn with a 50 per cent strike-rate. She applies the aid on Pack It In (5.50 Ffos Las). His recent form suggests the visor will need to work some magic, but he has run well off much higher marks than this in the past.
