Sweetspots: In-form Burrows primed to strike with Alsimsaam
Owen Burrows has a 32 per cent strike-rate over the past fortnight and a 24 per cent strike-rate with handicap debutants. He is represented by the Dark Angel colt Alsimsaam in the 2.25 at Brighton.
Charles Hills has a 21 per cent strike-rate at Leicester which increases to 50 per cent when he combines with Jim Crowley. They team up with Lifeboat in the 2.50 and with the lightly raced maiden Eraad in the 4.25.

William Haggas has a 34 per cent strike-rate at Newcastle and a 23 per cent strike-rate with handicap debutants. He is represented by three-year-old gelding Field Gun in the 8.45.
Simon Crisford has an impressive 67 per cent strike-rate at Catterick. He saddles his only runner of the day and the course-and-distance winner Ghost Queen in the 2.35.
