Sweetspots: be wise and back Archimedes on principle

Sakhee’s Return is interesting for Tim Easterby in the 7.50 at Doncaster. The five-year-old is now 6lb lower than for his last win and in-form jockey David Allan makes the journey from Leicester for the one ride.
Charles Bishop and Eve Johnson Houghton are a team worth supporting at Chepstow, operating at a 33 per cent strike-rate. The pair’s best chance appears to be Fantasy Queen, bidding for a fourth course success in the 2.55.

Archimedes can make it two wins in a week in the 5.40 at Doncaster. The four-year-old’s trainer David Griffiths strikes at 25 per cent (11-44) with last-time winners reappearing within seven days, so expect a good display.
