Sweetspots: Adams Park gets the green light for Newland
Richard Newland has a 30 per cent strike-rate with recruits from other stables and the former Roger Varian inmate Adams Park (1.40 Market Rasen), will bid to enhance that record.
Count Calabash (5.35 Ascot) goes for the Eve Johnson Houghton and Charles Bishop combination, who have a 38 per cent strike-rate. The hat-trick seeker has been freshened up since winning over the course and distance.

Betty F (5.00 Ascot) runs in her first handicap for Jeremy Noseda, who has a 26 per cent record with handicap debutants over the last five seasons. It would not be the first time that Noseda has had one lined up for a big handicap at the royal meeting.
