Sunday's free racing tips: five hot fancies at the end of a busy week of action

Handicappers' nap

Molinari (3.20 Sandown)

Ran his best race yet when just failing to hold off a progressive rival in a stronger race at Ascot last weekend. Has improved with each run this year himself and holds solid claims off the same mark back down in grade here.

Ace tipster

Bigbadandbeautiful (5.20 Galway)

This two-time Listed bumper winner has plenty to find on ratings but she's a smart mare who is fancied to run a big race.
Cathal Gahan

Speed figures

Mutasaamy (3.25 Newcastle)

Shaped as though this longer trip would suit at Sandown last time and Roger Varian's four-year-old can make it three from six on the all-weather.
Dave Edwards

Spotlight nap

Cockalorum (3.25 Newcastle)

Down the field the last twice but faced tough Listed task on first occasion and it was his first crack at 1m4f most recently; before those he was a good second over course and distance on reappearance and enters calculations on that form.
Ben Hutton

Dark horse

Formality (2.20 Sandown)

Has failed to match his debut promise so far this campaign but it's interesting he was pitched into Listed company on his second start. He's a potential improver dropped in trip on his handicap debut and with cheekpieces applied.
