All the rage for the Commonwealth Cup in the days running up to Ascot, Equilateral was weak in the market on the day and ran no race, but he was said to have scoped badly and has been bouncing at home since.

His earlier eight-length slamming of Foxtrot Lady (now rated 102) when conceding 8lb obviously reads terrifically well now and one poor effort is easily forgiveable, but he is the market leader after a bad run and does need to improve to deal with for the in-form Roger Charlton.
