In-form colt should be right in the mix in Flying Childers

Newmarket: David Milnes

Buffalo River (4.40 Doncaster, nap)

Not the most straightforward of individuals but ran a great debut when just outpointed by the useful Almania at Sandown last month. John Gosden's youngster has since impressed on the Limekilns.

Others to follow
Doncaster 1.50 Laugh Aloud, 2.25 Rumble Inthejungle, 3.00 Walton Street, 3.35 Sheikhzayedroad, 4.05 Sangarius, 5.10 Bernardo O'Reilly, 5.45 Loveisili.
Chester 2.00 Blue Mountain, 3.10 Dance Legend, 4.15 Deja, 5.15 Fire Tree.
Sandown 2.15 Michaels Choice, 2.50 Compas Scoobie, 3.25 Venedegar, 3.55 Knife Edge, 4.30 Swift Approval, 5.00 Augenblick, 5.30 The Last Emperor.
Salisbury 3.30 Emily Goldfinch, 4.00 Jash, 4.35 Red October, 5.05 Ghost Queen, 5.40 Thriving, 6.10 Bidding War, 6.40 Dijbouti, 7.10 Raid.

North: Colin Russell

Gabrial The Tiger (5.15 Chester, nap)

Has four course wins to his credit and though poorly drawn has the ground in his favour, so with a leading amateur booked he is fancied to put a poor run last time behind him.

Others to follow
Chester 2.00 Love Kisses, 2.35 Indian Sounds, 3.10 Mearing, 3.40 Showmethedough, 4.15 Baileys Artist, 4.45 Jabbaar.
Doncaster 1.50 Ellthea, 2.25 Little Kim, 3.00 Nakeeta, 3.35 Lord Yeats, 4.05 Commanding Officer, 5.10 Al Erayg, 5.45 Speed Company.
Salisbury 3.30 Relight My Fire, 5.40 Cupboard Love.
Sandown 3.25 Aussie Nugget, 3.55 Gurkha Friend, 4.30 Firmament, 5.30 Zabeel Star.

Lambourn: James Burn

Soldier's Call (2.25 Doncaster, nap)

Royal Ascot winner perhaps did not handle Goodwood when fancied for the Molecomb. He got back on track in a French Group 3 last time, handles any ground and should be right in the mix.

Others to follow
Chester 2.00 Indomitable, 2.35 Pass The Gin, 3.10 Bacacarat, 4.15 Zaajer, 4.45 Twin Star, 5.15 Misu Pete.
Doncaster 3.00 Just In Time, 4.05 Athmad, 5.10 Shanghai Glory, 5.45 Flight Of Fantasy.
Salisbury 5.05 Headland, 6.40 Swift And Sure, 7.10 Nebo.
Sandown 2.15 Royal Dynasty, 2.50 Secret Agent, 3.55 Majboor, 5.35 Astrologist.

West Country: Andrew King

Sufficient (5.05 Salisbury, nap)

Has proved fairly consistent in a handful of runs to date and the step up in distance may help her get off the mark.

Racing Post Ratings: Sam Walker

Misty Birnam (3.40 Chester)

Scored with a bit up his sleeve at Redcar last time (RPR 80) and could be up to building on that considering his old South African form in Graded company.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Headland (5.05 Salisbury)

Earned the best speed figures on the card when romping home over course and distance eight days ago and can make light of his penalty.

Longshot: Olly Eden

Absolutely So (4.30 Sandown)

Comes with risks attached following below-par efforts since a Group 3 win last year, but has dropped in the weights and this represents his easiest opportunity for some time. Andrew Balding continues in good form, Josh Bryan takes off a valuable 3lb, and he can run well providing the ground doesn't dry out too much.

Ireland: Tony O’Hehir

Massa Lubrense (2.40 Listowel)

John Geoghegan's homebred four-year-old performed well on his first run of the year at Roscommon last month, finishing well for second over 7½f. He handles testing ground and, off the same mark as last time, gets the vote to score under Gary Halpin.

The Raceform Interactive nugget

Since 2010 the Hannon stable has had four winners, a second and a third in the Group 2 Flying Childers Stakes at Doncaster (+£8.83 to £1 stakes). Well Done Fox, a Listed winner at York last time, is expected to go well at 2.25.
