Solution to Curragh sprint is to simply call a Copper

Four of the last six winners of the Rockingham at the Curragh were trained in Britain and Tim Easterby’s COPPER KNIGHT could be the answer to Sunday’s renewal.

He did well to run third after pressing the pace out wide in the Listed Scurry Stakes at Sandown last time and has figures of 221 (2-3) in handicaps.

PAVILLON lost her unbeaten record when only third at Wolverhampton last time, but she fared best of those ridden patiently and two of the other hold-up horses have won since after finishing fourth and seventh.
