Signposts: Sole runner Dolos can strike for Nicholls at Carlisle

Credit: Alan Crowhurst

Piazon (Southwell 1.05) loves the fibresand (5 wins and 2 seconds from 12 starts) and returns to the track off a nice mark. He has blinkers on for this, and won when they were enlisted originally in December 2016.

Paul Nicholls is 5-9 at Carlisle and his sole representative, Dolos (2.35), shouldn’t be opposed. He’s clear on ratings and the return to 2m should be enough for him to be able to take this valuable prize.
