Frankie Dettori operates at an impressive 43 per cent strike-rate when riding for Charlie Hills at Newbury. The pair team up with Mount Nelson colt Bartholomeu Dias in the 4.35. His sire’s progeny seem to get better the further they go, so the step up in trip should be seen as a positive.
