Runners glide across the downs overlooked by Salisbury's famous cathedral
Salisbury: host a meeting on SundayCredit: Edward Whitaker

Newmarket: David Milnes

Rich Identity (4.40 Doncaster, nap)

Ran below par when fifth at Goodwood last time but may have been unsuited by the easy ground. Roger Varian''s grey has since worked well on the Al Bahathri.

Others to follow
Doncaster 2.10 Pastime, 2.40 Quduraat, 3.10 White Light, 3.40 Equitation, 4.10 Ashington, 5.10 Mod.
Salisbury 2.25 Guardiola, 3.25 Gumriyah, 3.55 Khafooq, 4.55 Elation, 5.25 Always Amazing.

North: Colin Russell

Wentworth Falls (3.40 Doncaster, nap)

Made a fine start to the season when runner-up to a progressive rival at Thirsk last month. Has conditions to suit is fancied to go one better.

Others to follow
Doncaster 2.10 Storm Ahead, 2.40 Aussie View, 4.10 Lumi, 4.40 Knighted, 5.10 Our Kylie.

Lambourn: James Burn

Shabaaby (4.25 Salisbury, nap)

Owen Burrows is getting his team into top gear, so expect a bold show from this promising colt, who did well last year and made a pleasing reappearance at Newbury last month. He is entitled to come on for that.

Others to follow
Doncaster 2.10 Burrembeet, 2.40 Penny Numbers, 3.10 Pirate King, 5.10 Folies Bergeres.
Salisbury 2.25 Chikoko Trail, 3.55 Sunsprite, 4.55 Silca Mistress, 5.25 Maygold.

Racing Post Ratings: Sam Walker

Storm Ahead (2.10 Doncaster)

Well treated on last year's form and posted clear best effort this season when staying on to finish a close third at Ripon last time. This drop in grade should help him build on that.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Ashington (4.10 Doncaster)

Overhauled in the closing stages on his seasonal return at Leicester recently but Luca Cumani's three-year-old can deservedly shed his maiden tag.

Longshot: Adam Maidment

King Of Burgundy (2.55 Salisbury)

Has yet to show a great deal but was an expensive purchase and the move up in trip should suit on this handicap debut.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir

Excelling Spirit (2.50 Cork)

The daughter of Invincible Spirit can come good at the third attempt having run second on her two previous starts, including on fast ground at Fairyhouse last month. She can deliver for Billy Lee and Willie McCreery.

Shahnaza (3.05 Chantilly)

Alain de Royer-Dupre is a man to follow in the Prix De Diane, the 3.05 Chantilly, as he's picked up the prize six times before. His challenger this year is Shahnaza.
