Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's four meetings

Tips at Leicester, Windsor, Downpatrick, and the Curragh

Sunday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Leicester

2.20: Equate
Following his narrow defeat over C&D last time Carbon Positive would have to be given a chance if handling the likely easier conditions, while Tell'Em Nowt and Raffles Rebel could play a part if putting their latest efforts behind them. However, the selection is Equate (nap), who is entitled to come on from his encouraging Doncaster return and the form has already been franked with the winner going in again since.

Windsor

3.10: Liberty Bay
Despite a 7lb rise for her Chepstow win, Glamorous Breeze is entitled to plenty of respect given her progressive profile, but preference is for Liberty Bay (nap). She has done well since switching to turf this summer and will appreciate the drop in grade after a couple of solid efforts at a higher level.
David Bellingham

Downpatrick

4.20: Nuttoridge
Not a lot of these appeal. Nasee and Repeat That are respected, but the gradually improving Nuttoridge (nap) ticks plenty of boxes here and looks hard to beat. Lil Codey is one that could be progressive enough to play a hand.
Justin O'Hanlon

Curragh

4.40: Comfort Line
Toshizou is probably the most interesting of these but he's back from a break so might be best watched for something later in the campaign. Comfort Line (nap) was third in the Lincoln here in March off a mark of 91 and makes plenty of appeal off 2lb lower. Although only eighth in the Ahonoora Handicap at Galway, there was plenty to like about the way he hit the line and this is his third run after a little mid-summer break so he should be coming to the boil nicely.
