Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings
Selections from Fontwell, Kempton, Navan, Newmarket and Worcester
Wednesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team
Fontwell
3.05: Helford River
Both Reallyradical and Goldencard (preferred in that order) have strong claims. Helford River (nap) will find this more demanding than his two wins but he remains at the right end of the handicap and can retain his unbeaten record as a chaser.
Jonathan Neesom
Kempton
7.30: Wizard D'Amour
Eloquent Arthur is respected back over 7f, Shoot To Kill has a good chance if last week's course and distance effort can be reproduced and Vitalline is hard to rule out in his current form. However, Wizard D'Amour is worth siding with, given that his first run since a gelding operation, in 0-85 company, can be marked up. This track promises to suit.

Navan
3.30: Lifetime Legend
With Sea Seal in action at Gowran on Tuesday, this could boil down to a clash between two at the opposite ends of the handicap. Back in maiden company after finishing third in a maiden at Leopardstown on Saturday, Lifetime Legend (nap) is tipped to get the better of Cambridgeshire fourth Zozimus. Team Of Firsts is also respected.
Alan Sweetman
Newmarket
3.50: Country Pyle
Pyledriver's half-sister Country Pyle (nap) has hinted that she could be suited by today's drop to a mile on her handicap debut and she is the pick ahead of the twice-raced Random Harvest, who could be on a good mark if improving for last month's belated reappearance at Kempton. The unbeaten Bashkirova also has to be afforded plenty of respect, along with the bang-in-form Madame Tantzy.
Ben Hutton
Worcester
3.58: Ultimate Getaway
The vote goes to Ultimate Getaway (nap), who looks well treated on his handicap hurdle debut. Brief Ambition is going the right way and might be more effective in handicap company than he was in a small-field novice at Perth last time. He rates the biggest danger ahead of Taste The Fear.
