Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings

Friday fancies from Sandown, Exeter, Sedgefield, Newcastle and Dundalk

Friday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Dundalk

4.00: No Speed Limit

Just denied over C&D last week, No Speed Limit can record a first win at this minimum trip, chiefly at the expense of Meishar, who tries this trip for the first time. Art Of Unity returns to his optimim trip and rates a threat, while Cityman is down to a dangerous-looking mark and could reward each-way backers.
Alan Hewison

Exeter

2.40: Gunsight Ridge

The step back up in trip looks a firm plus for Gunsight Ridge based on his staying-on third on last month's chase debut over 2m at Aintree. Venetia Williams has won two of the last five runnings and the very lightly raced chasing newcomer L'Homme Presse could be the chief danger, ahead of the unexposed Longshanks who is open to improvement on his second chase start.

Naps table: daily tipping selections from national newspaper experts

Newcastle

5.45: Hello Me

Only thirteen 3yos have contested this in its four previous renewals and the age group has been responsible for three winners as well as last year's nose runner-up. The progressive Hello Me can keep up the good work in a race containing its share of hold-up sprinters and serial hard-pullers, with Macho Pride, who looked an unlucky loser behind Oso Rapido over C&D early last month, the pick of those drawn low for his in-form yard. Lahore, who showed more for his new yard last time, is another to consider.
Graham Wheldon

Sandown

3.35: Pileon

On the back of an encouraging effort at Aintree, Pileon may well be the answer off a handy mark. Second choice is Stoner's Choice who, like the selection, ran creditably in a Pertemps qualifier on his latest outing. Last year's runner-up Storm Arising should go well again, while South Terrace and The Cob remain open to further progress.
Steve Boow

Sedgefield

1.40: No Cruise Yet

Lord Getaway was third in a better race than this last time and should go well, along with Diamond Brig. No Cruise Yet is another with standout claims, as he looked threatening when coming down late on last week at Doncaster.
