'He looks a major player' - Mark Boylan is keen on improving hurdler

A number of Oliver McKiernan's recent runners have rattled the crossbar, but he could send out a timely winner in veteran Lean Araig, who runs in an open-looking 2m4½f handicap chase (2.15) at Naas.

The 12-year-old has had a stop-start career with spells of 327, 1,043, 297 and 686 days on the sidelines, meaning this will be just his 17th start, but the former Grade 2-winning novice hurdler appears to be having his clearest run of good health in years this term.
