Topweight and dual Betfair Chase winner Bristol De Mai (184) heads the adjusted Racing Post Ratings for the Randox Health Grand National, but there is plenty of time for that to change. Set to race off 168 as opposed to his current official rating of 173, it is hardly surprising that he rates the pick of the handicap, but there are others who look nearly as well treated.

Stablemate Blaklion (182) has been frustrating to follow since winning last season's Becher Chase, but he is set to race off a five pound lower handicap mark than when brought down at the first fence when a fancied contender last season and, still only a 10-year-old, it is far too soon to be writing off the 2016 RSA Chase winner.

Surprise 2018 Irish Gold Cup winner Edwulf (180) is another who has something to prove, but again this has been compensated for by a slipping handicap mark.
