This maiden sees a host of well-related individuals bid to get their career's off to the best possible start, including the progeny of Dubawi, Shamardal and Invincible Spirit, but Swiss Air arguably boasts the most interesting bloodlines out of the 11-strong field.

The daughter of Oasis Dream is a homebred for Lordship Stud out of the Listed-winning Indian Ridge mare Swiss Lake which makes her a sister to Listed scorer Swiss Dream, a half-sister to dual Group 3 winner Swiss Diva and a three-parts sister to Group 3 hero Swiss Spirit.

Of the nine winners that Swiss Lake has produced since retiring to the paddocks, six of her progeny recorded their first wins at two - including Swiss Dream, Swiss Diva and Swiss Spirit.

With Swiss Lake herself a juvenile winner and out of a mare who also hit the money as a two-year-old, there's plenty of cause to think that Swiss Air can continue the family trend.

Swiss Spirit now stands at Whitsbury Manor Stud in Hampshire and made an encouraging start with his first juveniles, who hit the track last year.

The nick of Oasis Dream over Indian Ridge has produced 11 winners, of which Swiss Dream is one, and also includes Nunthorpe Stakes scorer Jwala, Middle Park Stakes hero Charming Thought and Listed winner Reply.
