National Stakes winner Thunder Moon and last weekend's Irish Cesarewitch scorer Waterville are among the 1,552 lots catalogued for the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale, to be held between October 24 and 27.

The Joseph O’Brien trained four-year-old Thunder Moon is the only Group 1 winner in the catalogue, having won the two-year-old prize as well as placing in the Dewhurst Stakes and Group 1 Prix Jean Prat. The son of Zoffany will be offered by The Castlebridge Consignment.

O'Brien's father Aidan trains Waterville, who produced a remarkable performance to make his way though the field last Sunday. He is one of a possible draft of 41 to be offered by Coolmore, which also includes this year’s Dante Stakes third Bluegrass.

Recent Group 1 winner Knights Order and Zaaki were both purchased at the sale and this year’s catalogue features more than 70 Group and Listed performers.

Two-year-olds listed include Eddie's Boy, a wide margin winner of the Group 3 Prix Eclipse on his most recent start, Royal Lodge runner-up Dubai Mile, Listed winner Rocket Rodney and Chesham Stakes runner-up Pearling Path.

Juddmonte's consignment could feature the unexposed Special Envoy and Demarcay while there are significant drafts from Godolphin, including the likes of Bedouin's Story, Aaddeey and Movin Time, and Shadwell (Mujbar, Monaasib and Zawaaya).

Tattersalls chairman Edmond Mahony said: "The Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale has a remarkable record of producing top class winners with no less than 76 individual Group/Listed winners in the last three years bought at the sale including seven Group/Grade 1 winners.

"That continued success is the key to the sale's enduring appeal to both domestic and international buyers and this year’s catalogue has all the ingredients to appeal to the customary global audience including the significant, high-class consignments from Godolphin, Juddmonte Farms and Shadwell Estates.”
