Lot 39
B c Galileo - Landikusic (Dansili)
Consigned by Ecurie des Monceaux

Bred on the same nick as globetrotting Group 1 winner Magic Wand, Ecurie des Monceaux's son of Galileo could get the Arqana sale off to a flying start.

While Galileo's progeny are now in limited supply, there is also plenty to recommend this yearling based on his page. He is out of the winning Dansili mare Landikusic, a full-sister to Coolmore's late sire Zoffany and a half-sister to two further Group winners in Irish Derby runner-up Rostropovich and Anglesey Stakes scorer Wilshire Boulevard.

There could be further updates to the page, as the colt's full-brother Justus broke his maiden in June, while the dam has a two-year-old Frankel filly in training in France.

Lot 77
B f Dubawi - Nuit Polaire (Kheleyf)
Ecurie des Monceaux

Ecurie des Monceaux knows all about bringing top lots to Arqana's yearling sales and this well-related daughter of Dubawi is arguably one of the sale highlights for the leading consignors.

She is out of the winning Kheleyf mare Nuit Polaire and therefore a half-sister to Prix Jean Prat and Prix de Guiche scorer Intellogent as well as the Listed-placed Lightupthenight.

Nuit Polaire is in turn a half-sister to Italian Oaks and German St Leger scorer Night Of Magic and the stakes-winning Night Serenade. Further back in the page is Grosser Preis von Berlin winner and Preis der Diana runner-up Nymphea, German Derby hero Nutan and Diana winner Next Gina, the granddam of leading Hong Kong performer Pakistan Star.

Lot 108
B f Recorder - Salvation (Montjeu)
Normandie Breeding

The Queen's Acomb Stakes winner Recorder, a son of Galileo and juvenile Group 2 scorer Memory, has enjoyed a positive start to his stud career with his first two-year-olds, which included the stakes-placed Hot Queen.

This filly looks likely to attract a flurry of bids, being a half-sister to Wonderful Tonight, winner of last season's Prix de Royallieu and British Champions Fillies & Mares Stakes. Wonderful Tonight did not do her half-sister's page a disservice either when winning this season's Hardwicke Stakes, while the yearling is also related to the stakes-placed Penjade.

It is a page packed with quality as under the third dam is Dahlia Stakes scorer Tarfah, the dam of triple Classic hero and Coolmore's high-class sire Camelot.

Lot 138
G f Style Vendome - Summer Moon (Elusive City)
Haras de Cordelles

Haras de Cordelles' lot comes with a handsome page update courtesy of her half-sister Rougir's last-gasp success in the Prix de l'Opera on Arc day earlier this month.

The daughter of Territories was already a Group winner with victory in last year's Prix des Reservoirs, and she had also added two further Group-race placings to her name alongside a narrow fourth in the Prix Rothschild behind Mother Earth.

Further back in the page are a number of Group winners, including Yorkshire Oaks heroine Key Change and St Leger hero Milan, while this filly is bound to command a significantly higher fee than her half-sister's €55,000 price tag from Arqana's August Sale.

Lot 177
B f Kingman - Alta Lilea (Galileo)
Haras d'Etreham

A daughter of Juddmonte supersire Kingman and a half-sister to a promising juvenile stakes winner in New Science, Haras d'Etreham's filly holds plenty of value from a racing and breeding perspective.

Her Lope De Vega half-brother - a €260,000 signing at Arqana's Select Sale to Godolphin from Etreham last year - has had the form of his Ascot Listed strike considerably boosted by Angel Bleu's win in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere and he looks every inch a three-year-old prospect for Charlie Appleby.

Under the filly's third dam, Prix de l'Opera winner Mona Stella, is Critérium de St-Cloud scorer Special Quest and Critérium de Maisons-Laffitte winner Moiava, while also in the family is Prix Vermeille and Poule d'Essai des Pouliches Dancing Maid.

Lot 201
B c Wootton Bassett - Belle Riviere (Frankel)
La Motteraye Consignment

This son of Wootton Bassett has plenty going for him on his page, being out of an unraced daughter of Frankel and Nassau Stakes heroine Winsili and from the immediate family of Prix Greffulhe winner Ice Blue and last year's dual Listed scorer Franconia.

Offered by La Motteraye, the colt also has ancestors such as Dubai Sheema Classic and Grand Prix de Deauville victor Polish Summer, Hardwicke Stakes winner Snow Sky and Manhattan Handicap scorer Meteor Storm.

Lot 414
B f Shalaa - Silca's Sister (Inchinor)
Haras de Grandcamp

Shalaa was represented by his first top-level winner this term courtesy of No Speak Alexander's Matron Stakes win, and Haras de Grandcamp offer another filly with a Group 1 pedigree.

The bay is out of a Prix Morny winner in Silca's Sister, an Inchinor full-sister to Mill Reef Stakes winner and Irish 1,000 Guineas and Coronation Stakes runner-up Golden Silca.

Silca's Sister, who has produced Horris Hill Stakes runner-up Start Time from five individual winners, can count a number of black-type performers among her page, including Warsaw, the dam of Happy Romance.

Lot 548
B f Lawman - Fair Breeze (Silvano)
Haras de Grandcamp

Lawman has proved a fine source of top-class fillies having sired last season's Fillies' Mile heroine Pretty Gorgeous alongside Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Just The Judge, Agnes Stewart and Luminate, and this filly is another who catches the eye on pedigree.

Consigned by the operation that stands the son of Invincible Spirit, she is out of a multiple black-type winner in Prix Corrida scorer and Premio Lydia Tesio runner-up Fair Breeze, who has also produced a Listed winner and Group performer in Fair Mountain.
