Sea The Stars filly the first runner for magical miler Ervedya
Erdana will contest maiden for unraced fillies at Deauville on Tuesday
Sea The Stars filly Erdana is set to be the first runner for magical miler Ervedya when she lines up in the Prix des Marettes for unraced fillies at Deauville on Tuesday (2.25pm local time / 1.25pm BST).
The 11-runner contest is run over seven and a half furlongs, with the smartly performed Savarin having defeated subsequent Poule d'Essai des Pouliches heroine Dream And Do in last year's renewal.
Erdana is trained by Jean-Claude Rouget and will be ridden by Christophe Soumillon, who teamed up so effectively with Ervedya during her racing career.
Ervedya precedes fellow Siyouni daughter Dream And Do on the Pouliches roll of honour and added two further Group 1 wins over a mile in the Coronation Stakes and Prix du Moulin in 2015. She also has a yearling colt by Dubawi.

Sea The Stars is the source of 13 elite winners with his son Stradivarius having landed the Goodwood Cup for an unprecented fourth time last week.
Erdana faces no easy task on debut, with Siyouni also represented in the race as damsire of Trixia De Vega, a daughter of Lope De Vega and Group 3-winning miler Trixia.
Also in the race is Diction, a Lawman full-brother to the Group 3 Prix de Fontainebleau scorer Dicton out of the Listed-winning Giant's Causeway mare Saying.
Rouget also saddles Jalwa, a Shalaa filly out of the Galileo mare Al Anqa, while Andre Fabre sends out the Juddmonte newcomer Petricor, a daughter of Frankel and the Dansili mare Ruscombe.
