Half-siblings to Group winners the standouts for the SGA Yearling Sale

Italy's flagship SGA Sale is set to feature 136 well-bred yearlings on Saturday, including lots by sires such as Zoffany, Mastercraftsman, New Bay and Sea The Stars at La Maura racecourse in Milan.

Taking place across the road from San Siro racecourse, the first part of the sale, which has a minimum bid of €5,000, will start at midday local time (11am BST) and will be followed by the second part, which has a minimum bid of €2,000.

Among the lots on offer are Società Agricola Oriano's Haatef half-sister to Lowther Stakes scorer and Cheveley Park Stakes runner-up Miss Amulet (Lot 16), the Allevamento Le.Gi.-consigned Cracksman half-brother to Italian Oaks winner Auyantepui (19) and Razza del Sole's New Bay colt out of Premio Federico Tesio winner and Gran Premio del Jockey Club Italiano second Fair Nashwan (62).

Oriano also offers a Charm Spirit half-sister to two black-type winners including Premio Lydia Tesio victress Call Me Love (66), while Allevamento Le.Gi. consigns a Bobby's Kitten filly out of a half-sister to Derby winner Kris Kin (73).

Last year's sale saw the Razza del Velino-consigned Churchill half-sister to Italian stakes winners Sweet Gentle Kiss and Sunset Key knocked down to Marco Bozzi on behalf of Alfalasi Mohamed Saeed Ali for €120,000.
