Exciting prospect Hollymount added to Doncaster January Sale
Stuart Crawford's runner is being geared towards the Dublin Racing Festival
Impressive bumper winner Hollymount has been added to the first part of the Doncaster January Sale, which will see horses in training and breeding stock sold in an online only auction from 10am on January 26.
The Stuart Crawford-trained Hollymount produced a high-class performance on her racecourse debut at Carlisle in December by eight lengths.
The five-year-old is a daughter of the exciting young sire Jet Away, whose first crop already includes the likes of Brandy Love and Dreams Of Home, and is a half-sister to the multiple winners and Grade 2-placed Windsor Avenue and Ravenhill Road. She is also a half-sister to Malone Road, who topped the 2018 Aintree Sale and showed promise when winning his first three races.
Crawford said: "She comes from a great lineage who have been incredibly successful for her breeders the Buchanan family. She could not have been more impressive at Carlisle, which was not unexpected as her homework had been superb throughout the autumn.

"We are training her toward the Grade 2 mares’ bumper at the Dublin Racing Festival and I have no doubt she has the ability to be successful throughout the spring festivals this year."
Goffs UK managing director Tim Kent added: "We've got some very exciting horses in this sale, the addition of Hollymount certainly adds to the quality of the catalogue and we are encouraged by the number of online registrations we have received so far.
"We're working with vendors to provide as much information as possible given this online sale is a new concept and conformational videos along with veterinary certificates and other relevant documentation are being uploaded every day as they arrive. We ask that buyers keep an eye on their desired lots over the coming days as more information is added to the website and we look forward to offering these horses next Tuesday."
A total of four supplementary entries have been taken and also feature Baile Ghaire, who is a half-sister to the Grade 3 winner Robin De Carlow, four-time winner Nordican Bleue and Im Des Champ, who hails from the family of Denman.
